Job Description

As VP Implementation Services, you will oversee all aspects of SONIFI’s solution delivery and installations at customer sites, principally in the hospitality vertical. Our projects span across U.S., Canada, and other select territories. You will be responsible for a team of project management and on-site resources to deliver successful implementations that result in customer satisfaction, while progressively improving project volume, velocity, and profitability for the company. The role requires strong leadership, project management background, financial acumen, process design and execution, and complex problem solving. You will work collaboratively with other functional areas including Sales, Support, Product, Engineering, Field Services, Procurement, and Finance, and proactively drive alignment and improvements that support company objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver successful installations and activations of SONIFI solutions in a timely, cost-effective manner across the designated territories. Drive reduction in contract-to-activation time by optimizing process, people, and tools. Continuously reduce backlog of contracted but uninstalled projects.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction with high quality implementation experiences through the customer journey, including successful hand-offs and collaborations with upstream and downstream teams. Act as escalation point for challenged customer situations and contribute to problem-solving.
  • Aggressively pursue process automations to reduce wasteful manual effort, unnecessary process complexity, and potential for errors or omissions.
  • Cultivate a high performing team, including training, up-skilling, and upgrading of talent as needed.
  • Optimize program for subcontractor network performing on-site work. Ensure sound business agreements, high quality performance, risk management, and competitiveness.
  • Be accountable for project forecasting, project budgets, cost-control measures, and department operating expense. Drive performance through clear KPIs and feedback process.


  • 7-10 years of experience in enterprise technology implementation or delivery, with strong bias toward networked solutions. BA in Business or related field, or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience overseeing in-building installation projects, and related services such as site surveys, change orders, and professional solutions.
  • 10 years of progressive experience managing high performing teams of 20+, with a track record of delivering positive change and transformation.
  • Hospitality industry experience highly preferred.
  • Fluency with Salesforce (or similar CRM), and field project management tools strongly preferred.
