Position Summary:

The Technical Renewal Sales Specialist position will proactively manage and execute the Guest Internet Access (GIA) renewal sales process for support and license entitlements which are offered by various manufacturer partners through SONIFI Solutions, Inc. The person in this position will build and nurture relationships with both internal teams (Customer Success, Sales Account Management, Technical Assistance Center, Accounting, Procurement, Product Management, and other Departments) and external customers to serve as the primary point of contact to identify, quote, and facilitate orders for support renewals. Additionally, this position will work along with the internal teams through End-of-Life (EOL) equipment initiatives while referring additional upsell opportunities and customer lifecycle requests to the Account Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturer support entitlements and licenses along with their renewal policies, timelines, procedures, and customer benefits.
  • Proactively identify and facilitate renewal opportunities including potential roadblocks or challenges and develop strategies to address them in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders by establishing clear communication channels to provide timely updates on inquiries and action items.
  • Facilitate the renewal sales process to provide a seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Effectively use SONIFI systems including Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Solution Design Tool (SDT), GIA Pricing Tool (GPT) to track, generate, and provide quotes to all inquiries.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on renewal sales activities and performance.
  • Maintain regular and timely communication with vendor (manufacturer) partners to maximize renewal requirements and processes.
  • Continually evaluate existing renewal processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Seek out and analyze industry best practices and innovative approaches to streamline workflows and optimize the customer experience.
  • Understand or have the ability to learn the essential network components that comprise the SONIFI GIA Solution including each components functionality, how it connects, and interoperates (computer networking fundamentals) in the offered solution.
  • Ability to obtain manufacturer specific certifications related to the sales, licensing, and renewals of their specific offering.
  • Assist internal teams in capturing, communicating, and managing manufacturer end-of-life schedules in conjunction with components within SONIFI supported networks to reduce exposure and maximize network reliability.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct other assigned duties as required including the pre and post-sales support of SONIFI products, services, and solutions.

Know How:

Must have a two-year degree with a four-year degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of one-year experience in renewal sales required. Ideally will have industry knowledge as well as knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, Ethernet, and network design is a plus, specifically but not limited to Wi-Fi standards, designs, and best practices. Must have experience with customer relations and support. Must be meticulous and self-motivated and successfully work with a high level of organization and accuracy in a fast-paced department. Technology skills, including capabilities with various CRM’s, Microsoft Office applications, and other online web-based platforms is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $24.00/hr - $26.50/hr. The pay for the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This pay range amount is not a promise of a particular wage. This position is also eligible for PTO, holidays, health, dental, vision, retirement plans, pet insurance, on-demand pay, and a variety of other benefits.
