Position Summary:

The Renewal Specialist will build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers by serving as the primary point of contact for identifying, quoting, and facilitating orders for various manufacturer support entitlements for our properties with expired, or expiring, licensing entitlements. In addition, the Renewal Specialist will work cross functionally with Product Management, sales, TAC and other departments to identify and manage End of Life (EOL) initiatives for SONIFI’s Guest Internet Access product lines. The position will require comprehension of different manufacturers equipment, networking infrastructure technologies, support policies, licensing structures, and networking functions. You will work directly with customers, as well as cross-functionally, to pro-actively manage the support of entitlement renewals, identify additional upsell opportunities, and lifecycle request escalations for Guest Internet Access (“GIA”).

Essential Functions:

  • Keep current on all SONIFI approved manufacturer support entitlement SKUs, policies, and procedures.
  • In conjunction with Product Management keep current on all SONIFI approved manufacturer EOL announcements and plan accordingly to manage to those dates.
  • Evaluate current network components to determine the timing and necessity for quoting support entitlements.
  • Review existing contracts and subscription agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Work with TAC to provide quotes for lifestyle requests for customers with active support contracts to ensure there is no lapse in service.
  • Support the TAC, Implementation and CSS teams in helping our customers understand SONIFI’s GIA product offerings and the importance of updating support entitlements in order to have a properly supported and secured network.
  • Understand and utilize SONIFI’s quoting tools (GPT, SDT, and CPQ) to produce timely, accurate and profitable support entitlement and lifecycle request quotes.
  • Effectively utilize Salesforce by maintaining comprehensive and accurate information for customer follow-up, quotes, status, etc.
  • Produce detailed and accurate supporting documentation to facilitate the TAC and Network Engineering teams in deploying lifecycle requests.
  • Review existing networks to understand equipment lifecycles and produce actionable insights for optimizing maintenance schedules, upgrading infrastructures and ensuring network reliability.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to understand and accurately quote the diverse range of products SONIFI sells and supports.
  • Provide regular reports on activities.
  • Work on establishing processes to enhance the efficiency of the renewal processes.
  • Work to establish strong relationships with customers by ensuring a positive experience.
  • Represent the company with customers through written communications, telephone, and electronic means (e.g. web meetings and online presentations).
  • Conduct other assigned duties as required including the pre-sales support of SONIFI products, services, and solutions.
  • Obtain certifications from Ruckus Wireless, Aruba Networking and/or other specific vendors included in the SONIFI suite of products.

Know How:

  • Must have a related two-year degree, four-year degree preferred, in either Network Engineering or Information Technology
  • Positions requires a minimum of one year experience in IP networking and communications-related systems or services; or the equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Knowledge of networking such as DOCSIS, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, and network design is a plus, specifically but not limited to Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), designs, and best practices and understanding of physical cabling required for network designs.
  • Experience with Ruckus Wireless, Aruba Networking and/or other specific vendors included in the SONIFI suite of products a plus.
  • Must have experience with customer relations and support.
  • Must be meticulous and self-motivated and successfully work with a high level of organization and accuracy in a fast-paced department.
  • Technology skills, including capabilities with MSOffice and other online web-based platforms is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $24.00/hr - $26.50/hr. The pay for the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This pay range amount is not a promise of a particular wage. This position is also eligible for PTO, holidays, health, dental, vision, retirement plans, pet insurance, on-demand pay, and a variety of other benefits.
