• Ensure network designs meet or exceed customer requirements while staying within project budget

• Collaborate with and support Guest Internet Access (GIA) installation activities across all project phases
• Act as the technical lead on install projects, ensuring SONIFI standards are communicated, met, and escalated appropriately when issues arise
• Analyze requirements and propose alternative design options aligned with customer needs and financial constraints
• Assist with training and support documentation for GIA Installation Technicians, Subcontractors, Field Service, and Technical Assistance Center Engineers
• Contribute to development of best‑practice guidelines and documentation for network configurations
• Maintain strong working knowledge across network equipment and technologies including switches, routers, access points, controllers, firewalls, cabling, cross‑connects, RF cabling, optical networking, DOCSIS, DSL, wireless protocols, and network management tools
• Evaluate and test vendor products, prepare evaluation summaries, and support onboarding of approved components including documentation and base configurations
• Maintain project status updates within company systems and provide status reports as required
• Provide pre‑sale, installation, and post‑sale engineering support
• May provide leadership, coaching, or mentoring to SONIFI associates

What You’ll Need
• Four‑year degree in a related technical field and two to four years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP addressing, subnetting, LAN/WAN/WLAN configuration, and network installation support
• Desired certifications: CWNP, Ruckus WiSE, Aruba ACMP/ACSP, or equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills with ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
