SONIFI® Solutions, Inc., a leader in technology solutions for the hospitality and healthcare industries, is excited to welcome a Human Resources Specialist to our team! This position is based in Sioux Falls, SD working at the corporate office.

You'll be crucial in ensuring our HR functions run seamlessly behind the scenes, directly impacting our team's success.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs post-offer, pre-hire background screen and candidate processing.
  • Conducts New Hire Orientation and administers all new hire paperwork, including the I-9 process and confirmation Initial COBRA Rights Notice sent by COBRA Administrator.
  • Verifies and processes all employment related paperwork (new hires, transfers, terminations, salary increases, etc.) for employees.
  • Reconciles insurance billing statements, distributes insurance documentation, and provides support during the Open Enrollment process.
  • Maintains employee files, establishes personnel and benefit files for new employees, and destroys files in accordance with SONIFI Retention policies.
  • Completes Verification of Employment requests.
  • Maintains Org Charts, prepares reports, and creates employee communication.
  • Assists in the planning, coordinating, and hosting of employee events.
  • Assists with various projects, goals, and initiatives.
  • Provides administrative support, assists with department faxing, filing, and shredding, records HR budget expenses and credit card expenses, maintains supplies, coordinates employee discount tickets, and other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma and two-year related degree or its equivalent and two years related Human Resources experience or combination of education/experience required.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior computer experience including human resources software, word processing and spreadsheet applications required (Dayforce, Microsoft Word and Excel applications preferred).
  • Good interpersonal and written/oral communications, organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
