Job Description: Sales Manager, Gaming

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager of Gaming is responsible for executing sales strategy within the gaming market, focusing on achieving individual sales quotas and contributing to overall department goals. This role involves managing a personal sales pipeline, providing market insights from the field, and ensuring a steady flow of business. The Sales Manager will actively engage with customers, contribute to solution development, and collaborate effectively with internal departments such as Product, Marketing, and Finance to drive successful sales outcomes and maintain SONIFI's competitive edge.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage a personal sales pipeline within SONIFI's Gaming Vertical, accurately forecasting individual sales opportunities from prospect through the entire sales cycle.

  • Drive optimal volume and velocity of opportunities within assigned pipeline to achieve and exceed individual sales targets.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding and addressing customer needs. Conduct customer calls, sales pitches, and presentations.

  • Manage ad-hoc queries and inquiries generated by assigned accounts.

  • Analyze assigned territory/accounts to identify new prospects and growth opportunities. Monitor competitive offerings and relevant market trends.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering) to develop solutions that best address customer needs. Assist with technical integration discussions and issue escalations as needed.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

  • Work closely with team members to achieve sales targets, including preparing presentations, scheduling meetings, conducting sales pitches, and identifying new business for SONIFI.

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Operations for successful campaign execution within assigned territory.

  • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory to ensure growth attainment.

  • Contribute insights to strategic planning discussions, particularly regarding assigned territory performance.

  • Prepare and liaise with internal departments to ensure site surveys, proposals, rate requests, contracts, etc., are followed up and completed in timeframes acceptable to the client.

  • Attend relevant trade shows and events to gather new leads and represent SONIFI.

  • Balance the needs of assigned accounts and prospects to effectively achieve company-assigned goals.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal sales partners and teams. Collaborate on sales calls to foster deeper customer relationships.

Qualifications (Know How):

  • Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in a vertical market.

  • 3-5 years’ experience selling hardware, content, and software solutions, ideally to the Hospitality or Gaming Industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and relationships.

  • Communication & Influence:

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, including mid-level and senior management.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships, even with difficult or demanding customers.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce is required for performing project management and sales tracking tasks.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate contract language.

  • Strong analytical skills, both financial and statistical, to understand the implications of customer solutions.

  • Ability to understand and articulate basic technical concepts, such as product specifications.

  • Education: Four-year degree in Business or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.

  • Work Ethic: Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Skills: Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Salary & Benefits:

The annual salary for this position generally starts between $50,000.00 - $100,000.00, based on a variety of factors including location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage. This position is also eligible for PTO, holidays, health, dental, vision, retirement plan, pet insurance, on-demand pay, and a variety of other benefits.
